Need help with LogJam.

Jul 14, 2012 17:48

I need help. I have Ubuntu on my computer, and I have LogJam on it to post to LiveJournal. But I've heard it posts to Dreamwidth as well... only thing is, I can't find instructions on how to set that up. My Google-fu is failing me. If anyone here knows what to do, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

I don't have LogJam, but looking at the screenshots page it looks as if there's an option to create a user and change the server for that user http://andy-shev.github.com/LogJam/tour/

Looking at the development pages it looks as if there hasn't been an update for over 3 years. I don't know if this is a concern to you or not.

Huh - include one (useful) link and the comment gets marked as spam - so called "intelligent" systems... Hopefully the link is still visible in my previous comment.

Hurrah for auto-spam-marking! :P One more, with feeling, and hopefully without tripping the thing again!

I didn't find any instructions either when I Googled, but LogJam's menus are helpful.

Use LogJam → Servers and Users... to add Dreamwidth, and the url for it is http colonslashslash www dot dreamwidth dot org slash.

Use LogJam → Change User... to add your DW account info.

Be aware that DW has changed many, many things behind the scenes since they forked from LJ, so not all options and actions work as expected (or at all).
