Bananas from Guatemala.
Avocado from Mexico.
After seeing the documentary End of Suburbia awhile ago for the first time, the action of purchasing strawberries or bananas, or any produce that is shipped to Canada makes me stop and think: how much longer will this be a luxury for us?

wiggle it, just a little bit
we just got a worm composter. i feel like i have bugs or vermin crawling on my body. I've never lived with worms before. Red wigglers at that. -
i will be on vacation, my blog will be on vacation
to all that give a damn: out -of-town in the next week and a half. It warms the heart.
I watched the movie: Long Life, Prosperity and Happiness this evening. It was shot in Vancouver, which brought back memories and made me look forward to my visit all the more [and a van friend called later on, telling me about the cherry blossoms blooming right now]. my first cricket game ever!
I played cricket tonight for the first time - it was great. A co-worker of mine rented space in the soccer complex in the big building where agribition took place.
