I had my first day of classes yesterday. I was so nervous(I am always nervous when teaching a new class) that I slept terribly. But, both classes went well, I like the students. The longer I teach the more quickly I can notice students who are a bit, ahem, not interested. We'll see if I can rope them in

OMG, I so agree about over-air-conditioned rooms. I actually get muscle aches from huddling in my chair. Good for you that you went outdoors!!

now I know to bring a sweater. It was insansely cold, I think b/c it is a tiny tiny room. Is your office OK?

NOOOOOO! My office is ridiculously cold, as is most of the building. I wear sweaters to work every day.
