This afternoon I went to look for a scribbled sheet of chord progressions, and couldn't for the life of me figure out where in the house it had disappeared to. First thing that came to my mind was, "Oh, I'll go Google it to find out where it is."

You're at least the second person I know who's done that.
At least you've never opened up a notebook and attempted to connect to a server by writing, in pencil, ssh jgoldie@sccs. I've done that, and it was ridiculous.
