I know EXACTLY how you feel. I felt the exact same way when I was there, even though I saw some pretty ugly parts of town and only got a glimpse of the GG bridge. but it was a glimpse from a little square inch of grass in dim daylight, and these dimmmed-light shops with Van Gogh replicas were to my back, and the last tramway was leaving, and some man sang old 60s political songs with his guitar and there were kids in some shadow of rosy light..... San fran, or "frisco", just has something that's in no way chilly about it.

It's been years since I was in SF, and I know exactly what you mean. Usually I hate vacationing to the same place twice, but San Francisco is one of those places I think I'd never get tired of.

I went for a few days once when I was little, but I hardly remember it. You're making me want to explore it again.

When do you get home?
