I have worked as a housesitter a lot.

For sitting in people's driveways and making sure no one pulls in (no fun) I got paid $10 an hour. When I was feeding a cat and bringing in the mail I made about $15 a day. I think more than 2 animals or two kinds could go for more. your prices sound damn good, and you could probably get more.

Dogs should cost more, since you usually have to go to the house multiple times per day to let them out.

Oh shit, honey, you can charge more than that.

I generally get around $30 a day for the three families I housesit for - one with just a dog and a cat; one with 3 cats; and one with 2 dogs. I'm pretty sure that I'm on the cheap side of the spectrum, too, at least around here.

I'd go with $15 a day for no animals, and then maybe check with some local vets and animal boarders to see what their going rate is, and use that as a guideline for what to charge for animals.
