Too Cute

Yesterday Randi and I were watching a movie and Brendan came in to ask if we were going out at any point during the rest of the day. When I said I would probably be going out for smokes at some point, he asked if he could go with me. I find this bizarre as this is a child who is not fond of running errands. So I ask why and he tells me he wants to ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's tough. I want to be the cool, laid back mom that he can tell things to...but on the other hand, I just wanna poke him and tickle him until he tells me all of it.

Back ten or so years ago, I was in a fairly bad car accident while a passenger in somebody else's car. Couple days later, I still couldn't drive, so my mom was going to give me a ride to the physical therapist. I did my old man shuffle that injure people do, to go relieve the bladder before leaving. While in the bathroom, I heard the phone ring, but even if I had gone at full speed to get the phone, the call would have been long over before I got there. My answering maching picked up, and Renee left a message.

About 20 minutes later, riding along in mom's car, she said to me, "So, whoooooooooo is Renee?"

Okay, now not implying anything about B-man, but one of the things I REALLY didn't want to go into with my mother was about how Renee was a stripper. hehe.

Mom never did meet Renee. In all the women I've dated, mom has only met five.

Anyway, I'm sure B-man ISN'T dating a stipper.

My brother, Tim, dated a stripper. They went out for like two months. Tim said the sex was great but she was a psycho. So Tim starts not returning her calls and stuff, hoping that she'll get the message. So one day, after not talking to her for more than a week, she shows up at Tim's work. To prove her love for him she had gotten a tattoo.

My brother's name is Tim.

People close to him call him Timmy.

She had tattooed Timmothy, in an elaborate script, on her neck.
(no, that is not a typo, and, yes, she miss spelled it with an extra m)

If I see some little eighth grade hussy with my son's name tattooed on her neck, then I'll know for sure that he is indeed dating a stripper.

That's sweet. I think it's totally cute when kids think they can be all sneaky about stuff like this.
