I really am so very happy right now. Randi and I have been together for 9 months. I told her that if passion made babies, one of us would be pushing and breathing real heavy right about now. I threw a birthday party for my mom and couldn't have done it without Randi's help (my sister did fuckin nothing). A great time was had by all and if I have ( Read more... )

If you could have Randi's baby, would you? Do you ever ask questions like that ?

*hugs* At least you don't have debt.

What jobs are you working these days?

Good questions.

Bird ssems such the girl, that I would have thought the same thing, but my natural penchant for devil's advocate makes me wonder if she wouldn't rather have Randi have the baby. Bird has been through it once, which I would imagine would make her a great partner during the pregnancy and birth.

These are interesting questions. We have talked about it both seriously and jokingly.

In the normal run of things (but when have I ever done anything the "normal" way?) I would definitely would have wanted to have Randi's baby. When I think of that, it makes me ache that it will never happen. On the other hand, it is hard to wrap my brain around any other reality. The reality is that I no longer have my baby making parts. I had made the decision, that since the Bman was perfect and who am I to tempt the gods, that I was done making babies before I found out they were going to core me like an apple. As far as Randi has always felt...she saw herself as a parent, but most definitely not the one to carry and have the child. When it came time for us to have the serious talk about this...that is what it came down to. I can't and she doesn't want to.

And if she ever did decide to have a baby...I would be the most supportive, loving, helper/coach/partner EVER.

I understand. Christmas is usually my thing. That finding and giving of just the right present, nothing like it. It really hurts to be cash poor at those times.

I've had the pleasure of being really poor over the past few months. It really puts things into perspective.

Don't underestimate the many gifts that you have that don't require finances. I know that you love celebrating holidays and people, it's one of the very beautiful things about you. Bear in mind that it's not just gifts that you buy that express that love that you have for those in your life. I'm sure that you'll find ways to make your loved ones feel as special as they are to you.

Your friend,
- C.
