I spent a bit of time last night figuring out how long it would take to get various places where I have friends from Oberlin. 5 hours to Chicago, for Noah, Mike, and other visiting Iowa kids. 6 hours to Ithaca, for Maurice. 8 hours, however, to NYC. Oh well.

There's this girl at Oberlin whose pseudonym is Zoe Trope. She wrote this book, "Please Don't Kill the Freshman," which totally got me through that whole am-I-gay thing everybody does in high school. You should find her and hang out with her for me.
