So snakeskin manicures are all the rage. I figured I'd do one, seeing as I have a pet snake who sheds about every two weeks, making my manicure free instead of $300 8D
I applied a base coat and neutral tan polish to my nails. Then I cut sections of snake shed to fit each nail. I then applied a layer of top coat and placed the snake shed to my nail while the top coat was still wet. To finish, I put three layers of top coat on top, and that's it!
It would definitely be smoother and last longer if I had used a UV gel top coat that's cured under a UV light. I'm too cheap to buy gels and UV anything, so this will just last maybe another day before things get flakey.
