Ooh, this sounds like a good premise! It's a shame that the book wasn't entirely focused on Marianne, but it does still sound fun!

Even though Margaret's love story sounds a bit lackluster, you've made me very curious to see how the writer pulls off a period-appropriate style with economy. :)
