Там очень богатая живность. Я даже крокодилов видел. Просто надо знаать, где их искать. Снежных цапель я там тоже видел, но у нас в Калифорнии их завались, поэтому они меня там особо не интересовали..

I was there ten years ago and was struck by the variety of species. many of the birds there are very different from what I see in Virginia.

Yes, but most of these species are also native to the US as well, although more southern locations (south-eastern Arizona, southern Texas, Mexican Gulf area)

Can't help with the flycatcher, I'm afraid, but absolutely stunning photos.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm amazed at all the different birds you saw, but more amazed by your beautiful photos. Great shots!

The tropical kingbird is a much brighter yellow than the Western kingbird I see in my area. They have the funniest little sound.

Thanks so much for sharing your photos!

Thank you! Speaking of Tropical kingbirds, I was more interested in the photo, then in the sound, I would notice the difference. And there is plenty of them there. In winter they have other wintering kingbirds, but in summer Tropical is the most common.

Great photos. I was able to identify two birds we saw today. One was the Great Kiskadee which according to Peterson Guide never comes down here.

Thanks.
