By the way, just wanted to mention that if anyone else is a member of backyard_birds, I think the mods have abandoned the community. I have posts stuck in the queue. I messaged one of the mods that looked like they were using LJ recently, but no luck. Kind of sad, I enjoyed that community when it was

Yeah! Backyard Birds has four mods and it would have been nice if they asked for new mods.

message them all even if they look inactive and look for their LJ names in google (that was how I found a mod once, bc they also had a Flickr account that they WERE active on). Often they may have a Youtube, Twitter, or some other account with the same name. Or just type LiveJournal birdmodgal together to see if they listed their Livejournal on another site (which can also link them).
