Winter Birdwatching

Good for you, for making the effort! We had a week of having to wake at 4:30 to be out birding by 5:30 while on holiday recently. I was awake at 5 for two weeks after that, which was great!

There's a lot of value to getting up a bit earlier and getting that extra bit of time in. Our guide told us that one of the groups gets up at 2:30am to make the dawn chorus in spring. I'll have to try that soon.

It was certainly an effort - sometimes it's easy to get stuck in complacency.

Where did you go birding?
