I found a really nice condo in Ghent (which is a neat part of downtown Norfolk) and if all goes well, I’ll own it within two to three weeks...It is cheaper than the first condo I was looking to buy, plus it's nicer, more spacious, in a gated community (with visitor parking), and well, I'll post pics soon, because I could go on and on...I'm glad I

This is all so exciting to hear! One of my classmates (well, now former since she got her Ph.D. in May) is interviewing at ODU for a position. I might have to pick your brain for possible areas to live on behalf of her, hee hee.

Yes, it's all crazy exciting, but I can't wait until the smoke clears!...

Oh, and I would love to help your friend!...She'll want to be careful when choosing where to live because like so many cities, Norfolk has pockets of really nice, safe areas, but they often share a border with areas that can be pretty sketchy...Let me know when she starts looking!...
