I just watched the first three episodes of the YouTube edition of Playful kiss, and about died from five different kinds of cute (but on the other hand, I admit to gleefully cackling when Seung Jo agreed to let Ha Ni practice on him and ended up getting stabbed in the arm to high heaven).

I'm finally finishing The Littlest Hobo and Buzzer Beat. A ( Read more... )

You're alive! How are classes going? Are you enjoying China?

Good job in getting through those dramas. You should go see Jay Chou even though you're not too into his music. The experience will be one you won't regret.

That food delivery service is awesome, and I wish I had something like that here.

I am indeed alive! Classes are definitely not as soul-crushing as at the beginning of the semester, which I'm grateful for. I'm enjoying China, but my enjoyment is definitely tempered by the frustrations and loneliness, etc., which I suppose is just part of the living abroad experience.

I think I'm going to look into getting Jay Chou tickets. If nothing else, it's another China!experience for the memories, I guess!

I'm in the middle of finishing Unubore Deka, now. Did you ever finish it?

Yeah for non-soul-crushing classes. I completely understand the frustrations and loneliness of being overseas. Have you been able to make any friends over there?

Do it! You won't regret it.

No, I haven't. I'm on episode 4, but I got sidetracked with a mixture of not wanting to watch crack at the moment and being distracted by other shiny shows.

It's on Viikii (although I think still translators-only? but the url is http://www.viikii.net/channels/goto/youtubeplayfulkiss#VIDEO_FOLDER/all) It's also on Playful Kiss' official Youtube channel, and I think pretty much all the usual websites (I watched it on Tudou, but that didn't have english subs, either).
