DID THEY JUST KILL AHJUSSI? THEY DIDN'T, RIGHT? THEY CAN'T, RIGHT?
AHJUSSI IS THE ONLY COMIC RELIEF THIS SHOW HAS LEFT. So . . . . THEY DIDN'T, RIGHT?!!
Okay, watched the rest of the episode.
But still, holy fuck. At the beginning of the episode I was like, "Well that was kind of a lame attempt on Nana's life, seeing as how you were basically within point-black shooting distance and didn't really try anything" but I think evil daddy was, once again, just testing Yoon Sung.
But ohhh man. I wonder if Evil Daddy is behind the car crashing into Ahjussi. I don't really think so, given that Kim Jong Shik was actively looking for him and it was Kim Jong Shik's car, but that would be SO COOL if it was.
And Yoon Sung goes (briefly) over to the dark side! I love that it was Nana's words which ultimately brought him back from the edge. Although, god damn Kim Jong Shik, you basically picked the worst time EVER to (try and?) commit suicide.
I am crossing my fingers in hopes that a) the Prosecutor figures out that City Hunter was trying to save his father, not push him off and that b) Kim Jong Shik lives (if only to get his fair legal punishment later at the hands of his son) and c) Yoon Sung doesn't go off on some guilt-driven tangent.
And of couse, if Ahjussi doesn't come out of that coma, writers are gonna die. It would make sense and raise the stakes to another level and fit the overall theme yada yada, but bitches gonna die.
