quick update before bed:

just got back from matthew bourne's swan lake. aka all male swan lake. aka gay swan lake (to be concise).

i'd seen it a few years ago, and remembered loving it. it was phenomenal. just mind blowing. i'm completely overwhelmed, an hour later. phew. if you get the chance, see it.

life is beautiful right now.

i've spent the past three days working with a film crew that's making an educational video for classrooms. it's about economics, about sharing, taking responsibility for your own posessions, etc. the back story, though, which i was mainly a part of, is that it's set at plimoth plantation, the 21st century museum, and follows two visitors around ( Read more... )

today i feel grown up because:

i prepared my first ever tax return. turbo tax is amazing.

it is a beautiful day outside, so i've been sitting on the porch sunning myself. life is contentment.

i had a series of really strange dreams last night. i was on an airplane with a ton of other people, and there was an ice skating rink in the back of the plane. not only that, but there was a disney ice capades show going on and they were bringing people from the audience into the show, so i got to skate with mickey mouse ( Read more... )

i just made cupcakes from the magnolia bakery recipe, complete with their frosting (vanilla on vanilla), and they taste PERFECT. now i just have to make the frosting a pretty color, and we'll be set to go.

life is all about the little things.
