Some Tagore to end the day…

It’s taken me two months, but I finally finished Sabyasachi Bhattacharya’s biography of Tagore - “Rabindranath Tagore: An Interpretation.” A satisfying read though it was not as stimulating as his other book on Tagore, “The Mahatma and the Poet”. Thank you! Glad you liked it. He was quite incredible, someone with great foresight. If you haven't read him much, I recommend his essays on Nationalism and his letters to Gandhi, in particular. He is not my favourite poet (don't think English is much of a lyrical language, so it's probably the translation that's the issue), but I just love most of his non-fictional writing. Resonates strongly with me.
