i've been reading this chris crutcher book. (yes. actually reading. for fun. but then again, it is one of chris' books.) it's called _the sledding hill_. the main character dies about twenty pages into the book, and now he's, well, "living" around his best friend. the whole time they're talking of loss and what we do as humans to deal with these things. it's pretty interesting. they're also dealing with typical chris crutcher things: homosexuality, athletics, overthrowing christian views. you know, the norm.
so the point of this was that i've been thinking about loss these days, too. and i think i always kind of am. in some way or another, loss is usually there.
