willow willow! i'm sorry i didn't respond right away. i am the worst at livejournal communication. how are you??? those are my sisters, yes. we went to canada. family vacation. as far as an update goes, and thank you for calling my life wild and precious -- how true! all lives are! -- i was in peru/south america until may. then i came home and missed being there and missed the kids i was working with and had to readjust and all of that. i have been living with my family in indiana and was working this summer in a very interesting/frustrating position in a variety of group homes with developmentally disabled adults. random but it has been good for me. i'm also working at a university bookstore. the incoming freshmen seem so young and small and it makes me feel so removed from the college scene. do you feel that way? anyway, i'll be moving in less than two weeks to new york for a publishing internship at the new press, a nonprofit press that really fits with my interests/ideals/etc. so i am excited. i am subletting for ( ... )
