His slightly too-big shoes loose around his feet and skittering over the hot surface of the road, he ran to the girl on the road, dropping to his knees beside the blood pooling by her head. He was aware of the skin on his knees scraping against the rough surface, but paid it no mind. He could pick out the dirt and heal himself later, after all. This human was the most important thing in his mind right now.
"Have you called the emergency services?" Although his eyes were on the body, the question was directed to the man beside her, who he hadn't looked at properly since he'd gotten there. Still, with these kinds of injuries, it was doubtful the girl could survive without major medical problems, he reminded himself as he cradled her head. Time was of the essence and she needed help quicker than they could provide. His power took effect as he mentally called for it, sealing the wound on her head and replenishing the blood supply; repairing her damaged brain and bringing a little colour back into her cheeks.
"Ribs next," he said, mumbling to himself, a little sing-song under his breath as a little of the blood splattered over the ground sunk into the knees of his shorts. "Spine..."
