I'm doing the newsletter, and I always used the permalink link at the end of each post, or the one from the header to do the actual linkage. Now, I can't do it anymore. I need to go inside the post, and copy the link from my address bar. Why? Because all links in LJ are now affiliated to VigLink

And I only noted because I do the newsletter using Opera. My default browser is FireFox and I'm using a disabling referral tool here. *sigh*

Or, you don't have any referral link, you just link to something amusing at ThinkGeek, and some friends of you buys something there, following your link; LJ will get money from your free link.
What it's worst is that they didn't say a word about it, because they thought they could get away with it. Because you will note the links are slowing down, but you can't see anything wrong in them. Except when you copy and paste the links, which was how I found it.
And this wasn't the first time they did something like this,last time they got a storm shit when they were exposed, and yet, there they are, doing it again.
This is no way to do business. And, under American laws, it's not only unethical, it's plain and simple illegal.
