Oh God, KARIN. Sweet darling proud Karin who suffers so beautifully. Oh, this one shook me to my core. I feel cathartically terrible for her.

Seeing Karin start to get worn down by this guy -- who is not as savvy or subtle as Makor; Makor would understand that making Karin parrot back these shaming phrases is nothing but parroting -- is tough, but it's interesting too in that it happens sort of accidentally, because he's trying to humiliate her (or really is just getting off on hearing his partner/victim say humiliating things, less than that it's Karin saying it) but he doesn't realize that he's hit on a weakness of hers, that he's plying at this preexisting weak spot in her self-confidence.

(And in a few minutes, Karin is going to kick herself that she didn't tell him her name and force him to know her at least a little as a person.)

Ezri has her work cut out for her when Karin hits the therapy couch later. Seriously.
