haha, it's not that i object to fukuyama in totality. it's all his earlier stuff that has my eyebrow raised. i don't know how much you know about fukuyama, but he came up with that "end of history" stuff where we're done evolving and will stagnate for ever as we are now.

Sounds like he's succumbed to the idea that every generation gets.. that they're the important ones or the ones that will end history, etc etc. Typical self-centred humans, hah!

definately. but he rescinded later and said that we'l continue to evolve as long as our technology keeps going forward. but i know what you're saying with the self-centered humans bit. haha!
