Hi all! So I traveled away from home last night. I of course forgot my pills. I had already missed my Wednesday night pill, and now my Thursday night pill. I won't be going home until tomorrow so I'm going to miss Friday night as well. So 3 pills missed. My period showed up this morning, I'm assuming because I missed two pills. If you can't do that, then to maintain your protection you'll need to skip this pack's inactive pills and go directly to your next pack. This might also give you some funky breakthrough bleeding, but that can happen whenever you have problems like this. Sorry...
If you don't do either of the above, you'll need backup from now until you've had 7 days of active pills, then you'll need backup again from day 1 of your inactive pills through 7 days of your active pills again.
Any of those will work for protecting you. It's up to you whichever you choose. Have a great holiday!
