Diaphragms and spermicide...

Hello all, it's been a while since I've been on LJ! I have been trying to research diaphragms and spermicide on the net to find a forum, and I'm not having much luck. The one time my friend used spermicides, she ended up pregnant. :(

did she use spermicides only, or in conjunction with other birth control?

I believe it was the first day of her placebo week after her first month of starting BCPs and just spermicides.

It's likely that she happened to fall into that 1% BCP ineffectiveness that day, but I'm weary about spermicides.

As long as you can go poop when it's in, it's sized correctly. Your vaginal walls do also bear down when you have a bowel movement. That is normal.

If you can't feel your cervix, it may also be because of the point in your cycle. Your cervix is lowest during and before menstruation.

I just got a D, too. I have also tried FemCap and Prentif Cap, but they hurt my partner. :x (NB: Most men don't notice them, at least much). I like the way the D fits so far, but we have yet to try it together! Should find out soon... ;)
