have you checked with your local women's health centre or Planned Parenthood?

i don't have a doctor. i don't have a job and am not covered under any insurance.

didn't know about that community, will check it out.

i want to get back on a birth control pill to help regulate my periods and hopefully clear my skin, but only pill i was on before through my local county health clinic was Ortho-Tri-Cyclen, and it wreaked havoc on my moods way to much. i'd like to be able to research the different brands so that i can make my own decision on what pill i'd like to be on. i'm most interested in Seasonique.

I would recommend http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=Hormonal_Birth_Control, http://www.wdxcyber.com/ncontr13.htm, and a frank discussion with your medical provider about your past experiences and what you desire in a contraceptive. Also go in with an open mind, prepared to spend a few months experimenting with whatever method you choose, to see how it suits your body.

Additionally, mood changes on bcp can sometimes be attributed to the way they reduce your body's vitamin levels, so often taking a B complex supplement can assist in reducing that particular side effect.

Good luck!
