Describing a dream I had last night.

I'm still processing my traumatic birth experience and my son is almost 21 months old. Now I am struggling with the additional quandry of whether I want another child or not. This may be a moot point since my fertility struggle means my one pregnancy is likely my only pregnancy. Anyway, babies and birth have been on my mind quite a lot recently.

This is really funny. I had a recovery dream once about a home c-section under the Christmas Tree; my partner did mine and my sister's at the same time to save trouble. She was 7 months more pregnant than I was... Weirdly, it was all fine in the dream. Er.

While I didn't have a watermelon, :D, I had a dream similar. The doctors had just finished the section, then decided to put my son back in. They left me alone, and I labored as though nothing had ever happened. I was aware that my son was going to come, so I took precautions, trying to unwrap his cord while he was in me. It worked out and I was able to give birth to my son, by myself, seeing him when he came out. It breaks my heart two fold, because in a weird way, I got that experience, even if it wasn't real, but nothing can change that I just wasn't awake when I became a mother.
