Thank you. Once I thought of Navi Rawat and Sarah Shahi I had to have them in the show and I basically came up with Kelly Hu's character just so I could have her on the show too.

That's the really fun part of chaos_thon you get to cast actors you love.

I imagine Kelly Hu's character was teased as a child - Ritalin is a medication for hyperactive kids.

I don't doubt it's a valid name, but it made me go "wait - ?" so it may do the same for others.

Thanks for pointing that out, I never even thought of that :D.

To be honest at that point of coming up with names I was just picking randomly from lists of the most common names and surnames in the US. I'll just change her 1st name to Ruth.

granted, sometimes names like that do happen (particularly if the mom or dad wanted to honor a relative or friend - or use an ancestor's name). (my own name is a good example of that)
