(Congratulations on the job, btw. I hadn't heard you'd gotten one. Way to go! Newspaper jobs are cake once you figure out where everything is.....er, um, I mean......IT TAKES A GREAT DEAL OF EFFORT AND KNOW-HOW TO WORK FOR A NEWSPAPER. I AM A HIGHLY-SKILLED INDIVIDUAL!!!)

Wow you work for the Lawrence Losers? Naa, j/k...what is the paper called there? All I know of is the Star and Topeka..crap I forgot that too!...I work for the Mercury...good job I can still remember that. I got an email last night from someone watching over my shoulder from a long distance, the former online editor and its ok I only forgot 2 stories! hahaha. Apparently I was half way through doing one of them and then just *POOF* didn't bother finishing! He said it was ok and that I did ok for my first day...I'm going in an hour earlier today tho...I need the time just for the friggin sports columns. ANYWAYS, what is it that you do at your paper? Same thing? Or are you in the advertising/administration section? I remember you did advertising at the collegian, if I''m not mistaken? Ciao for now! Ed.

Hehehe....it's the Lawrence Journal-World. And you're right-I'm in the advertising department just like in college. It's the EXACT same job as I had in college, but with more hours, less responsibility, and more pay.

Happy Halloween and Happy 2nd Day of Work!
