Reita always wears it. It's kind of his trademark. It's mostly stylistic but there are rumors that he wore it to distinguish himself from Ruki in beginning or that he doesn't like his nose.

My opinion is that it's a stylistic thing because aside from both being blonde (sometimes), Ruki and Reita don't look alike and he has a cute nose so I don't think that's it either. Haha, hope that answered your question.
