I got BANGS! My hair is so now!

Aug 20, 2007 21:49

So I have needed a haircut for a really long time. Like months and months. But I have been afraid because I have been going to the same salon for my whole life. Also, I have had a secret dream where I would get really cute bangs despite the fact that I have a really big cowlick right on the front of my head that makes all my hair want to stick ( Read more... )

I like it! I think it highlights your bone structure. In that last pic your cheekbones are all hot.

The bangs will look more like Rashida's when they get longer, and you part it a little closer to center.

yay :)

haha, thanks, cheekbone hotness was an unanticipated side effect! I'm looking forward to when the bangs grown out a bit, since they are quite poofy right now.

Haha, you look like such an official emo-hipster kid now! Although I personally think it looks better in the first two pictures...but that could just be because I am mad jealous of anyone with wavy hair (or, uh, 'weird curly bits'!), since mine has all the personality of a very straight stick.

But yay for finally getting bangs, and double yay for breaking out into the world of new hairdressers! I was wondering which would happen first: you going to get your hair cut by someone else, or going home when your hair got too Rapunzel-like to handle.

And haha, you are wearing THE SHIRT! Teehee!

(P.S. You're still on for NYC in September, right? I might request your mom's help with the hotels again, since my only requirements are cheap (but not sketchy) and close to the Met--what website did she use to get that awesome hotel last time?)

Don't worry, as soon as I wash it the whole thing will be one big curly bit!

What finally convinced me to get it cut ASAP was the fact that I was starting to get carpal tunnel-like symptoms from the amount of time I spent doing the freaky hair-pulling thing that I do. I am a weirdo! D:

Of course I am wearing the shirt! And did you hear that KBell is going to be on Heroes!? I can't waaaait!

My mom used priceline.com, but the way it works is that you pick a section of the city, the quality of the hotel, and a price you're willing to pay, and it does the reservation for you without you being able to look at the options or anything. So there's no guarantee of getting the same hotel, or even one as nice as that one.

No way! Let the powers of awesomeness combine!

Good toknow about the hotel...when I get back in fast-internet land, I shall give it a try.

Ok, that Yikes picture is my favourite of ALL!!! And plus you are totally hot with the bangs, straightened or not. Jeff has spoken.

But Jenmy's right, you are totally a little emo-hipster kid now! Except a little more fluffy.

I shall now use my emo icon just for you.

haha, that is weird that you and Jenny both like the curlies. I couldn't deal with them at the time, but perhaps I will try it again tomorrow.

It is a fake katana-type sword, but at least I can look the part. I just need to get a yellow leather jumpsuit!
