True confessions of a PF addict

I have a confession to make. Even though I have technically already confessed it to many people, I am going to pretend it is a big deal: I am obsessed with personal finance!

I have an emergency fund and a Roth IRA. I don't even have a job, yet I bore Brady and my family with talk about 401k investments. I have 20+ RSS feeds for PF blogs on ( Read more... )

That paragraph where you lay out your goals is pretty darn impressive. I edit accounting and finance reports pretty regularly and they don't come close!

I think you should quite chemistry and go into teaching Finance!

And go you and the regular posting! Yeah!

Woot, I got the Ash seal of approval! Finance is more fun than chemistry, but only because chemistry is the thing I have to do. Oh well!

Haha, that's great because for mnost people it's the exact opposite! Of course, I do remember how obsessed you were with balancing your checkbook in undergrad!

And your budget is so pretty! Hoorah for the pinkness! I'm sure I would go that crazy with color-coding if I actually has money to manage (and in the meantime, I second Melissa's request for PF tutoring!).

If you can tell me how on earth you manage to pay all your bills and still save $225 from each paycheque I will call you a magician. I can just about save $50!!!

Be careful what you ask for! Brady is practically ready to move out because he's so sick of my helpful "suggestions" about his finances. ;)
