This post and your following post have a lot of really heavy content. I am quite thankful that you posted them because they've been really thought-provoking. I've realized recently that I have had a ton of rage related disasters in my life. My anger has taken a somewhat more subtle approach than the 'flinging dishes' style you hear about, but it definitely has been controlling a significant part of my life. Mainly, I have kept people very distant and am figuring out how to open up. When I get somewhere, I will tell you what I've learned. When you figure something out, post again.

I wish you luck and strength on your journey of self-discovery. It hurts sometimes to look in the mirror, but damn it feels good the next morning.

although what I've posted were mainly highlights for me to remember, you can read the full articles here:

I realized recently that I've been living in FEAR of anger (my own or others), and it may have led me to either bury my own emotions and/or take on those of others, neither of which are healthy. It's a learning process, and like you say, a journey, but you're absolutely right, it takes being able to identify issues in order to shake them off. Good luck to you, too!
