I have a new job. I scored a temp to perm assignment through Spherion. I am working at Harvard in the Dean's office of FAS. Technically I'll be working for Residential Life but I'll be supporting the Executive Assistant for the Dean as well. Spherion called it "high profile". I call it, "finally a job". have they actually hired you? (because, as nick and i discovered, spherion telling you it's "temp to perm" is not an actual guarantee of a job, no matter what they tell you. not trying to be a downer, just being *spherion* realistic

No, and sadly I have experienced the same thing with other agencies. I have reason to believe it is more likely this is really temp - perm though. They wanted me to interview at first but the ended up making my first day an interview/work day. If they like me I'll stay.
