My holiday was good, if rushed. After being snowed in for a weekend I managed to navigate my way out of the parking lot and up the street the Monday before Christmas. You had quite the eclectic Christmas, food-wise. I've never had Indian food, but I've had Ecuadorian ceviche and something else I can't remember the name of, it was fried plantains with cheese. It was good, but I think I would probably like those cranberry scones better. Those sound delicious!

If you don't mind my asking, have you made a switch to being a vegan or vegetarian? I remember you've been talking about vegetarian recipes over the past couple of years, but I wasn't sure if you were making a committed effort to vegetarianism of some sort.
I've been just distracted enough by the NFL to not miss MLB too much, but I'm getting rather antsy for the season to come lately. I'm glad the Winter Olympics are on this year.
