So much for that

I peaked out this evening to shovel the area in front of my door. The snow can't be higher than 6-7 inches, but good grief it is wet and heavy. We're supposed to get snow on Tuesday, but otherwise temps will be above freezing for awhile. Ah, Laura. Can’t you get a neighbor or friend to help you shovel? Especially if your respiratory system is not cooperating.

I’ve always wanted to see lots of snow some day, but the more I read about this snowstorm, the faster I’m changing my mind about it.

Heh, I'm using Cold-eze, which claims to reduce the length of colds, along with Vitamin C, lots of water, and as much sleep as I can manage. I think I might get off light this time.

I only shoveled a little space in front of my door so I can get to the (plowed) driveway easily. My landlord will shovel the whole walkway (or it will melt), and I'm not evening thinking of dealing with my car until Wednesday afternoon.

I used to love getting lots of snow when I was young, but now that I'm older, it's a pain! I think part of it is that our two big storms have been very badly timed (well, the timing was bad for me, this time). But I give the city credit for being far more prepared this time around.
