Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD is a compelling reason to get a current-gen console.

The other day when Cindy's mom was visiting, she mentioned that she was getting a new computer. I tried to convince her to get a Mac. Cindy and her mom just looked at me like I was crazy. Am I off-base thinking that most people really need a Mac for their home computer instead of a Windows machine?

Today's xkcd is a really good idea. The only problem is that if you kept the machines hooked up to the Internet you would be contributing a little bit to the botnet problem in general.

I purchased a book yesterday. On the back of the book are two prices: $39.99 US and $49.99 CAN - implying that $1 US is worth $1.25 CAN. This is not true - as you probably know, the Canadian dollar is currently worth more than the US dollar.
