A good friend of over 20 years; a trusted confidante, the first person I came out to, and in some ways a soul mate, her father died last weekend. Today was the funeral, at the fun-eral home

Collin - If I have learned anything from my 5+ years with my mom's Alzheimers' (and me, and my sister, and our Mom with her Alzheimer's), is that breaking down and crying is not only sometimes OK, but mandatory.

It makes it that much easier to laugh afterwards, and move on.
