Si is running his first marathon today. Just saw him at mile 4, looking fresh and happy. He is wearing his mom's cross, Giles' England Shirt (yes it is big on Giles), and a wristband for a little girl in Giles's class (she has leukemia). Last week I went to a conference for continuing education for mental health professionals. I attended a seminar on workplace bullying, one on domestic violence, and another where I got to watch a video of someone doing an actual suicide intervention.
