SO true. i just recently watched this episode, and i'd thought that this was strange. brian letting a guy stay over like that. i was little disappointed in him doing that...mr. i don't do love, or name, or jadda jadda jadda.

okay, justin didn't keep to the rules during s2 either, but brian had this rule already before he met justin, no?

Sort of. Wasn't really a rule. But guys sleeping over was definitely not a usual thing.

Kind of both, don't you think? By the end of S2, Justin had set fire to the rules, so they didn't really count. Except the 3 o'clock one. Remember after Justin and the Posse stripped the guys in the car? He comes running home, and Brian's sort of watching the clock. I'd like to think that the kissing the trick's rule stayed, though.

*fans self* Whew! Okay, focus focus... I think Brian didn't keep to his rules all the time, and occasionally there was an exception to the rule, like Justin, and a few others. If the guy was hot and/or appealing enough, why not? In the last photo, Brian seems steeped in his ennui, and doesn't kick out the tricks as fast, perhaps to have some company because he's feeling the emptiness in his life vacated by Justin. He's also doing that thing of keeping busy, even once while getting sucked off. He's normally a fidgety kind of guy anyway, and now it's on overdrive, as much as he would like to deny it. *pets Brian*
