So, time to ask the age old question. Are men and women capable of just being friends? Or does the sex thing really just get in the way all the time? Because I have friends that are guys, sometimes I'm attracted to them and sometimes I'm not. But I am fond of them, which to me is different from being attracted. The reason why I'm questioning at all

anyway, it's ok to have friends of the opposite sex. personally, i feel as if anyone in a relationship should be able to have your own set of friends, whether they be of the same or different sex. you just got to put trust in him...and if he does you wrong, then he's not worth it.

i feel that jealousy is a function of insecurity. you should think, " why should he leave me for something else when i have a lot going on?" you shouldn't worry too much because if he's worth it, you'll know :) but worrying a little is ok -- that means that you care :)

btw, do your parents know ? :x my momma suspects i have a boy but i sure ain't confirming her suspicions. :x

yea, i was thinking that your parents would trip too just as my momma would if i was dating a black guy. i hate it how our parents are just old school and ignorant like that :\ don't worry -- we're buddies; your secret's safe w/ me :)

btw, not dating alex anymore. broke up at the end of september. i'm going out w/ another guy though and life is good :)

i can tell you're happy honey and that's what is important. i know it's hard but i guess you gotta trust him and what you've got. shyet i'm such a hypocrite cause i know it's SOOOO hard to just trust, but i'm working on it as well. hehehe! many times we live in fear of losing something or someone, but sometimes letting it take over us becomes the very cause of us losing it at the end.
