an update on michael vick's rescued fight dogs

it's nice to read that so many of them were saved and are living, or are on their way to living, a happy life. some of the best dogs I've met were some type of bulldog!

My friend works at the Oakland SPCA and she has met several of his dogs and says they are beautiful animals and so far nearly all of them have doen very well in agression testing. She says they will all find homes.

I'm really glad to hear that! you hear about these things, and because of general distrust of the breed(s), you sort of assume the very worst about their fate. some people are so incredibly devoted, though, that they managed to break past all of that shit and get something done right! I'm proud of them, and happy for the dogs.

Bulldogs are quite forceful, I'm wary of them.
