[Oh, great, it was another teenager! Adachi, for the life of him, overplays his shock, and the communicator dances in his grip for a solid minute. It takes him a second to gain his breath.]

Sheesh, you gave me a heart attack!

[It's probably not her fault.]

Sorry... It's just, I wasn't expecting your face and all. I mean, even after the news I just got.

[The view on the camera shook and wobbled before it went still and focused again. It really was him. Oh, this was not good. Rise had to do some of her own keeping her feelings in check. She had to watch herself and be wary of him, just as much as Adachi probably had to watch himself as well.]

[The video shifts for a moment. He'd done some moving in the time Rise contacted him. He nervously runs a hand through his hair before nodding.]

Yeah. I can't say I believe all it, though. It's all so much to take in. It's going to take a few more hours before it hits, I guess?

[It's apparent that he's walking down the halls as the video shifts again.]

So, hey, how many people from Inaba are here, anyway?

[He's doing that thing, that act he puts on. But Rise could counter that with no problem. He hasn't done anything in Wonderland. Yet.]

Everyone gets like that, Adachi-san! It's not just you! You'll get used to it! [Ugh, but how she hated adding on that suffix to his name.]

I got here a couple weeks ago... The others have been here longer than I have! There's four of them here besides me. I guess Wonderland gets picky with who it decides to bring in.

[Speaking of a kick to the head, he's only giving Rise a slight view of himself. He hasn't quite figured out how to change it to voice yet, but he's still cautious.]

You know, I heard something similiar just a few minutes ago, but I didn't believe it. Hearing it a second time still makes it hard to believe, though... Oh, and who else is here, anyway?

[Rise was on camera like normal, partially to show that everything really was normal and partially to tell herself that she shouldn't have to be afraid of him.]

Oh, and can I make an assumption here? I've been walking around and exploring this place, and I've noticed it seems even bigger on the inside! And, well, that has me thinking... Do you happen to know how many people are even here? Silly question, but I want to make a guesstimate. It seems to go on forever on this floor alone! I don't want to be rude and knock on the doors, either...

[He isn't paying much attention to Rise, oddly enough. His gaze keeps on wondering off camera. His inability to fixate on his communicator for too long is at least borderline childish.]

So I was just going to plan on asking everyone I run into how many people they've seen while here. You'd be the first person I ask. I didn't think to ask the first person I ran into, sadly. I'm mainly wondering because, well, I have this odd feeling about this place. It's just, I think something might have a plan for us? It's kinda hard to believe we were brought here for no reason, you know?

Someone told me about 100 people are here. But you're right, the floors are kinda endless, and there are way too many rooms for the number of people here.

[Adachi looked distracted, but she could understand that as well since he was getting his bearings around the Mansion itself. It was a little jarring, but she had learned to accept jarring and unexpected with Adachi.]

I guess the only reason so far is that the Mansion wants our memories or something like that. I haven't been here all that long to see it for myself yet, but I heard that's how things work here!
