Man, I'm really bummed about having to choose between MCU panels. It's the only topic I'm into and MCU is a pretty huge universe that seems to encompass a lot of "fandoms." ::is sad::

I'm sorry you're sad. :( But since we have a stated rule about only having one panel per fandom, I felt responsible for sticking with that, even though the MCU does cover a fair amount of ground, as you say. For me, it came down to if someone isn't interested in the MCU, and both panels got voted in, then that leaves them out of almost half the single-fandom panels, which didn't seem fair. Hopefully there will be panels in other categories that you'll enjoy, and there can always be room parties and chats/flailing in the main con space!

Aww, thanks for clarifying! (And YOUR ICON. AWWWW. <333333) I'm glad you're not super upset, though I understand being disappointed. The MCU is a weird one for this, definitely--I mean, I think you've got your separate ship factions within a lot of fandoms, and I would still consider that different corners of the same fandom, but the MCU is definitely distributed in a different way, but with a LOT of crossover, which makes it especially hard to figure out where to draw the line. me_maneuver and I definitely went back and forth on this one! Ultimately, I sort of looked at it like a Venn diagram, and I thought there was enough overlap (relative to all the other single fandoms that don't overlap at all, or even with Jessica Jones, which exists in the same universe but doesn't share any characters with the movies, etc.) to group it as one fandom, but it is a weird case! Either way, I'm sure there will be a LOT of MCU squee to be shared, formally or informally. :)
