Vidshow Suggestions and Premieres!
Hey guys! Hope you all are as excited for the BP vidshow as Scribe (glass_moment) and I are!
We're looking for vid suggestions and premieres - thanks to the folks who have already messaged us with questions, I'm sorry it took us so long to get this together! Here's all the information you should need.
Vidshow Suggestions
Vids in all fandoms are welcome, and please don't be afraid to self-promote. To submit a suggestion, fill out this handy form!
You're welcome to submit as many vids as you like, just please fill out the form separately for each one. You are not required to contact the vidder yourself before recommending their vid, but we are asking you to find their contact info to make it a little easier on us when we reach out to them to get permission.
WHETHER OR NOT you are suggesting specific vids, we encourage you to comment on this post and let us know what fandoms you'd like to see represented in the vidshow!
Premieres
If you are at all interested in submitting a premiere, please fill out this form giving us an idea of what you're thinking! This is not a binding agreement yet, just an indication of interest. We will, however, be asking for a firmer commitment by the end of February.
Our rules for premieres are that they should be new vids that a) have not been shown at any other cons or group fannish settings, and b) have not been posted online for very long. We might be a little flexible on the latter, depending on how much interest we have from people submitting premieres, but ideally it would be something that has not yet been seen by too many people. If you're not sure whether your vid would count as a premiere, feel free to submit it both as a premiere and as a vid suggestion, and we'll get back to you once we figure out how many other premieres we might have.
We do require that all premieres be beta-ed. If you don't have a beta we recommend checking out the vidding community, which is full of helpful people, or feel free to ask us for help as well.
Please submit all vidshow suggestions and premiere ideas by Friday, February 19th. Feel free to comment here with any questions as well.
