Okay, as you can see... Croak believes he's gonna open. Rumor 1: Reed is back in the mix Rumor 2: The Melvins are going to be the first show... supporting evidence may be found here... http://www.ticketmaster.com/venue/65662 Rumor 3: Rob Borer is going back to work there Rumor 4: (and this was caught just outside of earshot, but...) If the goth night comes back... it would seem Ralph has offered to poison this venue as well.
Other things I've heard are that they've totally cleaned up the place... Like they power washed the basement, replaced all the drywall down there (hehe) and gutted the DJ booth...
I don't know what to think about it all. I might go back once, for old time's sake, but it will never be what we made it to be. For a breif period it was a shining example of how progressive the scene culd be, but it bright and flickered out as quickly as it was lit...

I figured about the Ralph part. And yeah, I can see the "ownership" issues being as problematic as before, if not worse (that was one of my first thoughts after seeing his name on the site). Even if the basement aspect doesn't ever resurface, it'd still be cool to catch a band there. Or play there, since I never had the chance :)
I'm not getting too excited. But considering the music/club scene around here (with a few exceptions), it couldn't possibly hurt. Besides, I've been disappointed so many times that I'm numb to it now :)

And I think someone else (you Tim?) should do the night - not Ralph.
