i think you are just growing up jen barnhill, obv. you are going to question everything you have ever thought/believed/been told, its in deciding, out of those things, what you want to be a part of your life, what you want to believe in; however, dont let fear of what we dont know make your decisions for you, believe in whatever, because you want to, not because you are afraid of the consequences if you dont believe.

apparently there's a limit of how many characters you can have in a comment, and i reached that, so i had to cut some things out.
but essentially...believe in what feels right to you. if you really think there is a god out there, than follow god's laws, not all the silly laws men made up. like what ty said, do it because you want to, not because you're scared.
Myself as well; was once one of those massive church kids... Not for a long time but 3 years out of my high school life. I almost didn't march drum corps in 2001 because of it. Middle school youth leader and everything, my brother was in the worship team at church and him and a few of our friends had a christian ska band called the "crashtones" So you can say I was all about it. I learned a lot but I was always one of those people who did the "what if" thinking... That always seems to get me into trouble. I believe a lot and I still have faith but I have fallen away because of things that were told to me at my church... As you know, I have done drum corps for a VERY long time... Well, my church wasn't into it. They tried to make me stop doing it to go on missions.. Yeah Missions would have been awesome but the way I saw drum corps, that could be my mission.... That was my calling.. My church didn't agree with that so therefore I was pushed away... How is that fair?? That's right, it NOT... Something that I thought god wanted me
