So something here lately has been bugging me on LJ. Yes it is one specific person and no they are not on my friends list (which is why this is a public entry)- they do however run a community I am part of. What bugs me is this community went on an unannounced hiatus. As in the person posted something for us to do then kinda poofed when the deadline

My knee-jerk response was iconstillness08, but they seem to have sorted themselves out lately....I even saw you post banners! :)

So, not knowing which community you mean, I'd say talk to other members if you know them - get a consensus and then talk to the "mod" if you can. Unless they are completely uninvolved in which I'm not sure there's anything you can do besides hope they passed mod-rights on to someone else. :/

Thanks for the advice. I posted because it was my turn to make the banners - probably will be until more banner makers come in to the place. It seems I'm the only one that thinks they're capable >_-

Some communities just fall apart for no reason kinda sux tho that there was no announcement or anything...I'd say contact the mod and ask em if you can take over if things aren't getting done...

p.s. ♥ the icon. I used to put the gun on the tv to shoot my ducks (and still failed at least 1/2 of the time)
